Welcome to 8th Grade Language Arts! It is indeed a pleasure to have your child in my ELA Classes I look forward to having a fantastic year at Leavelle McCampbell Middle School! It is my goal that ALL students increase their reading comprehension skills, to learn to use new vocabulary words, to use strategies to analyze what they have read, to read aloud smoothly and with expression, to write complete sentences and well-organized paragraphs, and essays by demonstrating the writing process. All students are expected to master the 8th grade South Carolina State Standards. Let's make this happen, after all LMMS Rocks!
